Three years ago, on 22 January 2019, works to transform Edmonton EcoPark into a new sustainable waste hub commenced. Since then, the project has gone from strength to strength and the site is unrecognisable from when construction first began.

North London Waste Authority (NLWA) yesterday, 24 January 2022, signed the contract to build the UK’s most advanced Energy Recovery Facility with the infrastructure and renewable energy developer, ACCIONA.

We come from public and private backgrounds, spanning 14 companies across 16 disciplines – from architecture and engineering to project management, law, and communications.

The month of October marked Black History Month, which celebrates and broadens understandings of black histories, achievements, and contributions across society. It presented an opportunity to highlight the integral importance of diversity and inclusion to the culture and work environment of the Edmonton EcoPark.

This year, the North London Heat & Power Project (NLHPP) recognised National Inclusion Week between Monday 27 September – Friday 1 October. Celebrated annually, National Inclusion Week promotes the power of acceptance in the face of discrimination. The event centres around a specific theme, with past themes including Each One, Reach One, to encourage people to connect with their peers.
