NLWA publishes contract notice for Sewer Diversion Works for the NLHPP

North London Waste Authority (NLWA) has published contract notices for works in relation to the North London Heat and Power Project (NLHPP). The works involve the design, supply, construction and commissioning of sewer diversion works on the existing Angel and Chingford sewers beneath the southern part of the Edmonton EcoPark in London.

Contract notices have been published to Tenders Electronic Daily, a supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, and Contracts Finder.

Further information on the contract is available in the procurement documents, which interested parties can access through NLWA’s e-procurement portal. The portal is also where tender responses can be submitted.

The NLHPP is NLWA’s project to construct an energy recovery facility and associated plant to replace the existing energy from waste facility at the Edmonton EcoPark. The existing energy from waste facility is expected to reach the end of its operational life around 2025. The sewer diversion works are part of the preparatory works for the project.
